BLOG 10 English

hello guys!! today I'm a little bit happy and a little bit sad, you know why? because this entry is my last post on this blog, and I'm going talk about my experience writing those blogs, the first thing is why those blogs are important, and i think it is because they can help in the writing part of English, giving more vocabulary and has been important in the redaction in other language, the second part is how we can use a technology tool, like the blog. use a contingency web is a great idea mixing the redaction plan and a social media.
I really love English so i enjoyed the classes,for example i like the listening because are like a challenge trying to understand what they say.
In my experience during this semester writing those blogs entry was fanny, talking about different topics like science, music, art, my favorite series and my career so it was a great experience.
I would like to invite you to write, is no necessary that you use a blog, you can use Facebook, Instagram and even you can use a personal notebook if you don't want to share your ideas, the important part is that you can write and practice in this.
But when i talk about the pronunciation i think I'm in trouble, i need to improved it. i think is necessary have more real dialogues.
well i think English is very important in our diary life, for example i always listen music in English and i like try to understand t whiteout read the lyrics, or the tv series, is the same. other important use is in our laboral life for example the scientific papers that we need to read for some classes. in conclusion English is very important and funny.

BLOG 9: Changes in the university and evolution of my carrer

Do you ever question yourself what it's wrong on our university or what can be changed for something better??
I've been thinking about it, for example the facilities in mu faculty, we don´t have a simple place to lunch, there is no enough chair for some clases, or in the winter there is no place were you can protect of the rain (not for all the people). so I think the facilities could be improved.
When we talk about technology I think we take advantage of it, there is so much instrumental techniques that use technology on it.
now talking about the curricular part, it think is good, at least in my career (chemistry) have so many areas for example inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, so many laboratories.
But if we must to talk about the workload, I'm sure that all my partners will say the same, we are overcharged whit the subjects, quiz every day, a lot of homework, so many laboratories, i think is so much.

Do you ever question how your career will evolve in time, like in 10 or 20 years?
actually technology is going to fast, in just 10 years we change from the "brick" cellphone (I've use to have a Nokia and it was so cool) to big screens with at least 40 different applications. Another big evolution is the internet, ten years ago was so expensive, slow, and you need a big computer but now we need it in our life.
When i think how my career will evolve i can't avoid to think in the analytical instruments, for example in the resolution in chromatography or detectors, they will be more precise, but the Chemister will be so much necessary ,like now because somebody need to interpret those datas, so i just think in 10 o 20 year the changes will be just instrumental or techniques, but we will be necessary as now

Blog 8 ...Some questions

Some Question about me

hi!!! today I'm going to make a different blog, not about a topic, I'm going to answer you some question, those question are very controversial and are very used in debates and discussions.
well the first question is... what is your opinion about cloning?
i think this question is overexploited, obviously is a controversial topic but people have a science fiction perception about it. I'm agree with clonation, because is necessary, is not about create 1000 people with the same DNA, it's the medical use that we could use it, for example you can "create" mother cells, and use it on different treatment like cancer.
The second question is... What is your opinion about climate change?
It's incredible how some people think climate change it is not real, it's amazing. well i think that climate change is something that we must to take the responsibility. we can keep ignoring what it happening. you can see: days like winter in November, what's next? snow in Christmas??
another question that i have is... What is your opinion about recycling?
it is not obvious? hahaha well obviously i'm agree with the recycling, recycling it's our most powerful weapon to counter the global warming, but i think it's necessary to expand the recycling culture, for example. teach in schools, or making recycling point in the communities. it not enough making shampoo bottles with recycled plastic (a famous shampoo company making marketing hit the recycling). is necessary a real change in our minds.
and the last question is... What is your opinion about Immigration?
well the first I'm agree whit the immigration, they are people just like us, i can't understand how people are so against whit immigration, they are so selfish, they say: "they came just to steal work" can you believe it?... the second is how our government are against whit immigration programs, it's more, the make Return Operation for Haitians people, this is just racism, i bet that if 1000 European people came, the government would be happy to receive em and not just the government.
we must to open our arms to hold many people, of different places. like the song say: "Y verás como quieren en Chile al amigo cuando es forastero" (And you will see how you want in Chile the friend when he is a stranger)

BLOG 7: American Horror Story my favorite serie

hi!! today i'm going to talk about a very interesting topic for me and it is about TV shows and series, well i want to talk about American Horror Story.
American Horror Story (AHS) is created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, is an anthology serie so every season is different, AHS has 8 season: Murder House, Asylum, Coven, Freak Show, Hotel, Roanoke, Cult and Apocalypse.
I really love this serie, im a fan. im a watcher, this serie is amazing because has, screams, hard scenes, a little bit of violence and too much blood, even deaths. i so cool how this serie can make you feel really nervous.
I'm not reealy good at watching series or animes or reading mangas but this serie (AHS) is different  i can spend a full day watching it, i consider is important in my life because is a entertainment source when im bored or want to get a relax.
my family is really good watching TV series like series that are in Netflix, nationals series like "Perdona Nuestros Pecados", online series in Youtube (generally Turkish series)
with my family talk about series it's not a good conversation topic, because i don't watch the series that they see, but they can talk abot the series they see without me cuz i don't like' em 😢😢😢. but the last week i download three seasons of American Horror Story, so now we can talk about this serie hahahah.
(Extra info: my favorite season is Coven it's about witches and they have to protect the Coven, have a witches war between voodoo witches and white witches)

BLOG 6: Post graduate course

hi!! today I'm going to talk about a post graduate course well, actually im studying chemistry and i would like to continue my studies in this area, for example i would like to do an chemist master, or a PH. D. in the same area.

i'd like to do a post graduate course because i can work on investigation, for example i really like inorganic chemistry and organic chemistry, so i'd like to take subject in those areas like organometallic compounds or polymeric chemistry.
i think continue my studies in the same university it's a great idea because i know how to do university works, the people, it is not something new and i'd like to do in a part time study, i like presential classes.
An important part in the post graduate courses is the financing for example a credit or a scholarship because those courses are so expensive. My plan is apply for a scholarship.
Another option it si just to do an master, because is easier and shorter than a Ph. D. and maybe cheaper, and the subjects are not to specific, are more general
Well if i do a Ph. D. or a master is important to get a post graduate course because whit this i can get a better work and more chances in the laboral world.

BLOG 5 dream work

Today im going to talk about my dream work, its a litle curious but my dream work is not a scientific work like stay in a laboratoy even if i would like to do this. But my real dream work is an artistic carrer, i love the photografy i would like to be in a famous museum, that people can see my pics, and they say: woow that's cool, that i can travel to many places, visit difents countrys.
I like the music to so i'd like to record an album with my songs, have my own shows.
So i really like to work outdoor, feeling the nature.
I don't about the money, i rather be poor and happy than rich and alone so i just need enough to live happy.
I don't know why but i really feelt enchanted by the artisc life. I felt so inspired by diferent artist like Lady Gaga, Andy Warhol and i whish that i can inspire some many people using my art, my creationes.
I like the science world and i'm happy to be a part of this but i really dream by the art
Maybe in the future when im old i spend more time in my art and study one of them.

Blog 4: NANO PARTICLES

Silver Nano particles,  a powerful antimicrobial

hi, today i'm going to talk about a new technology the nano particles, but this ones are made of silver well...

silver is an element of the periodic table, is the element number 47. silver has different proprieties, for example is harder than gold, has a high electric and thermal conductivity, and the most popular and famous use is in the jewelry, use in rings and chains. but silver has more uses...

actually are many studies for nano particles of silver, but what is a nano particle? a nano particle is a particle with diameter unless 100 nm and has many uses like biomedical, optical, electronic, nano chemistry, or agriculture. but silver nano particles are specials, because silver is a powerful antimicrobial.

those technologies are important in my career because is really new, and investigations does not have more than 10 years so he future is here. another thing that makes this important is the use of inorganic chemistry.

today i have decides talk about'em because i really love inorganic chemistry and i think is a door to the future, for example in medicine like treatment in infections, and who know, maybe is a part of the cure of cancer.

I've learned about this particles in the school, in a scientific fair, a group talk about'em.

those particles are important in our life because make different thing more safer, for example in te picture this band-aid is covered in nano particles. the advantage/disadvantages is the toxicity. in low concentrations are safe because in general silver is safe but in an excessive concentration could be dangerous

BLOG 3: Pets

Animals are specials friends

Hi there today I'm going to talk about pets, do you ever heard pets are the best friends? well i think it is true, you know why? because when you adopt an animal your life change completely.
i remember the day that my little doggy came to my life in 2013 its was a puppy that we called Thommy, it's a Yorky so it have a long and soft hair. hahahah so i loves dogs <3
when i was a little boy i remember have a bird it was beauty, but it makes me sad too because all entire life was inside a cage and could't fly like a normal bird. i feel something similar with the fish when they live in a aquarium even when hey have all the necessities, it's just because they are caught.

i think is very important to ve careful with our animals you must be responsable with wathever pet you have, like a dog, cat, hamster or even a snake, you have to love'em

BLOG 2: Holidays

Hi my friends, in this morning I’m going to talk about one of my favorite and best vacations in my whole life
Holidays are an special time were you can relax, free your mind and find yourself.
I still remember everything as if it just has happened yesterday, it was in the summer of the 2017, exactly on February,  I went to Algarrobo, Algarrobo it’s a part of the central littoral on the 5th region of Valparaiso, on this this time I went with my family and one of my best friend
We rented a cabin and stayed in it for ten days, fortunately it was cheap. I really love the cottages because are so comfortable
In this trip we eat delicious foods everyday idid many different things, like taking a long hike across the beach, boating, and in particular take pictures, I spend too much time in this I like the ocean, so I taked pictures of it.
Algarrobo have some many places like small forest so i went to explore with my sis and my friend, i almost fell on a hole in the ground but it was fun.

i don´t know why but they are my favorites vacations maybe because i spend my time with my family.

Blog 1 New York - New York

A City I Would Like To Visit


hi!!! today I'm going to talk about a city that I've always wanted to visit, why i like it, and many other thing.

well i would like to visit New York City, this is an american city located on the east coast, and has five boroughs New York, The Bronx, Manhattam, Queens and State Island, i like this city because so many famous people were born there like Lady Gaga and Cyndi Lauper, also baecause this city apear in diferent TV shows and looks so pretty, and because is one of the most important cities in the world, new york has many atractive places, like statue of Liberty, the central park, and the biggest subway of the world,

if one day i had the opportuity to travel to new york i would really like to visit the subway, i think is magnificent how could be, i think central park is so cool, and obviously visit the Liberty Island

i would like to live in new york because it's a big city whit many difents coultures, likes Latins, Asians, African. and cuz New york is a global hub of busines and commerce.

Yes! I play the guitar

Hi!! Today im going to talk about one of my "hidden" habilities, and its how i can play the guitar, its a little bit funny becaise i have been trying since i was 14 year olds, but at that time i really hated the guitar i used to think that i was so difficult and boring, even i know the pricipal chords like G, D, Em and C, but i didnt know how to mixed them to play a song and that was really frustating and i decided to leave it.
But in the last summer i've heard a guitar song of my favorite singer, Lady Gaga, Million Reasons, and i loved how it sounded, and i wanted to play it too, so i taked my guitar and searched the chords on Google and i tryed and was so incredible because for the firts time i've played a song by myself and that was so motivating, and since that i begin to try again and i though that the practice make the master hahahah, so i play my guitar at least once a week.
I want to play the ukelele too and i think it is easier than the guitar because it is smaller than a guitar and have only 4 strings, so i guess the chords are easier too. The last week one friend lent me her ukelele so i begin to practise and i can play some simples song with three chords.
